How do I apply to rent one of your Eau Claire or Menomonie apartments?
Simply download our application, fill it out, and return it us.

Do you do a background check as part of your application process?
We have a standard tenant screening process which includes: a credit check, court records check for criminal actions, check of previous rental references, and verification of employment. Co-signors are sometimes required.

Does my roommate(s) have to sign the lease?
Many tenants rent an apartment with a roommate. All roommates go through the same tenant screening process. All tenants are jointly and severally liable under the terms of the lease.

Policies

Do you allow smoking?
All of our apartments are non-smoking.

Do you require renter's insurance?
Renter’s insurance (or proof of coverage under family home owner’s policy for students) is required.

What is the policy on noise/neighbor disturbances?
Out of respect and courtesy to other tenants and the property itself, excessive noise and partying is not tolerated and will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

Lease Terms

Can I get out of my lease early if I buy a home?
All tenants who purchase a home through our company, Peters Real Estate, will be released from their lease. Certain conditions apply, contact us for details.
